Designing and installing a protective system for a second story means elevating productivity.
Customer was trying to source a safety guard for a 2nd story mezzanine to allow operator safe access to pallets once loaded by forklift operators. Due to dimensional constraints and layout conventional off the shelf products were not a viable solution.
Prior to implementation, site operators were not allow to enter the mezzanine area due to risk concerns of potential accident, requiring material to be carried by hand up flights of stairs to 2nd story work area. After implementation team members are now allow safe access to palletized goods, improving safety, ergonomics and efficency.
